I have been a real estate broker since 1988. I started my own Real Estate boutique just after 9/11—in January 2002, after 15 years working for two medium real estate firms in NYC. It was the best example of resiliency. The city went from shock to renaissance. I love New York! It is life! I sold trophy properties here,  from a  prewar loft in the financial district after 9/11 to a converted condo church in Harlem during the recession. NYC lives on.

In my career, I have been involved from start to finish in the rental-to-coop conversion of two prewar buildings, 166 E 96 and 302 W 86 “a home grown coop". I served on the Board of both a coop and a condominium. Dealing with residential coops and condos has always been my niche in the city* I am presently part of the renovation committee of the Gotham building.  I have lived in Carnegie hill for the past 35 years, (besides a 15 year interval on the Upper West side from 1981 till 1996).  Carnegie hill is the same charming enclave on the UES.

The real estate  growth happened in Yorkville (zip code 10028) with the opening of the Q subway line.
